Everything your finances need — in one app

From daily expense tracking to long-term investment monitoring, in one app.

AI CFO Chat

Ask your AI CFO anything: "Should I pay off my car loan or invest?" Answers come from your own transactions, budgets, goals and debts.

Auto-Categorize Transactions

Imported transactions get a category from the merchant category code or keywords in the description. Your own rules override the guess on every new import.

Receipt Scanning

Snap a photo of any receipt. The AI model reads the merchant, total, date and line items and suggests a category for you to check.

Budget Planner

Create monthly or custom budgets per category. Live progress bars show spending vs. budget. Proactive alerts before you overspend — not after.

Investment Tracker

Track stocks, ETFs and other assets with prices refreshed from free Stooq quotes. See portfolio performance, allocation breakdown and a FIRE projection toward your target.

Net Worth Dashboard

Assets minus liabilities = your true financial position. Track it daily, weekly, monthly. Visualize growth over time and see exactly what's moving the needle.

Financial Forecasting

Finman projects your balance up to a year ahead from the last 90 days of income, spending and recurring payments. Spot potential cash crunches before they happen.

‍‍

Family Finance

Invite family members to shared accounts, track split expenses, set household budgets, and maintain personal spending privacy — all in one dashboard.

Debt Payoff Forecast

Enter your debts with their rates, log each payment, and see the projected payoff date for every debt.

Subscription Tracker

Finman automatically detects recurring charges in your transactions and surfaces subscriptions you may have forgotten — so you can cancel what you don't use.

Savings Goals

Set a goal (vacation, emergency fund, down payment) and Finman calculates how much to save monthly and tracks progress with motivating visuals.

Phone & Desktop

One web app for every screen. Open app.finman.money in the browser on Android, iPhone or a computer, add it to your home screen, and keep entering transactions offline: they sync when you reconnect.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you start.

What is Finman?
Finman is a personal finance manager in the browser. It tracks your income, expenses, budgets, investments, debts and net worth, and builds forecasts from your own data. Its AI CFO chat answers questions using your own numbers.
Does Finman work on Android and iOS?
Yes, in the phone's browser. Finman is a web app at app.finman.money that runs on Android, iPhone and desktop. You can add it to your home screen, photograph receipts with the phone camera and keep working offline until the connection returns. Store versions for Google Play and the App Store are not published yet.
How does the AI CFO feature work?
The AI CFO is a chat inside the app. When you ask a question, our server gathers your accounts, budgets, goals, debts and recent transactions and sends them with the question to an OpenAI GPT model, reached through Finman's own ChatGPT account. The answer is built from your numbers. The same model writes your monthly summary and spending insights, drafts a savings plan and reads receipt photos. Nothing goes to the model until you open the AI page or send a message.
Can Finman scan receipts automatically?
Yes. With the AI features on, an OpenAI GPT model reads the merchant, total, date and line items from the receipt photo; otherwise text recognition on our server reads the merchant, total and date. Either way you check the fields and save the transaction.
Is Finman suitable for families?
Yes. Finman supports multi-member households with shared accounts, split expenses, family budgets, and individual spending views all in one dashboard. Each member has private spending areas while household totals stay visible to all.
How is Finman different from Mint or YNAB?
Finman is a web app for phone and desktop. It imports Monobank and CSV/OFX bank statements, sorts transactions with category codes, keywords and your own rules, and builds balance forecasts, debt payoff dates and net worth from your own data. During the open beta every feature is free. Compare Finman vs Mint
