Finman is a personal finance web app for people who want to see all their money in one place: accounts in several currencies, budgets, goals, debts, subscriptions and net worth, with a forecast of where the balance is heading. It is in open beta at app.finman.money and is developed by INNOVA CONSULT LTD., a software company in Ottawa, Canada.

What Finman does
- Accounts and transactions by hand, from CSV, OFX or QFX files, or from a connected monobank account.
- Budgets with envelope and rollover modes, savings goals and debt payoff plans.
- Subscriptions and recurring payments, including detection of repeating charges in your history.
- Net worth across currencies: each account keeps its own currency and totals convert to your base currency.
- Cash-flow forecast and alerts on unusual spending.
- Family sharing for a household budget, and receipts attached to transactions.
Who it is for
Finman is built for individuals and households, and especially for people whose money lives in more than one country. monobank connects directly with a personal API token. For RBC Royal Bank, TD Canada Trust, Scotiabank, BMO, CIBC, Tangerine, Wealthsimple Cash, EQ Bank, Revolut and Wise, Finman imports the CSV, OFX or QFX file you download from online banking. Connecting a bank is optional; manual entry and file import cover every feature.
How we treat your data
Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, sessions use signed tokens, and bank access credentials are encrypted before they are written to the database. Your financial data is not sold or shared with advertisers, and the app loads no third-party analytics. The full list of where data goes is in the Privacy Policy.
